Cute decorative growth chartJan 09, 2011

This is a nice wooden growth chart for the money. This chart is very cute and my son really likes his planes, trains and automobiles. He thought this was very cool.
My criteria for a growth chart: -A reasonable price, not too expensive -One that wasn't cardboard or cloth and would stand up over the years and through multiple moves.
This chart is easy to box up as it breaks into four sections that are connected by pre-tied string and may be folded into thirds. It is made of wood and stood up to my latest move wonderfully. Once this is unfolded it isn't completely flat, but I have perfecting standards and it's fine with me. A nice benefit to this is that it may be personalized with your child's name (for a fee obviously).
This chart is not very good at actually measuring how tall your child is. Here's what I mean: the ticks for each inch of measurement are not exactly an inch apart. HOWEVER for me this was fine. Because I know I'm going to be moving around, I wanted a growth chart that was portable. It's a very cute way to show your child his growth progress and allow him to see how tall his is now. To get the most accurate reading I just have him stand somewhere else and measure him. I then find his measurement on the growth chart and mark it with his current age.
This serves my purpose as a decorative way to show my son how he's grown and as a memento for me to keep as I move from home to home.
LOVE IT!Dec 20, 2011
By 1st Time Momma in Boise I love it! The artwork looks great & is fun. Make sure when you are trying to hang it you account for carpet depth if necessary. ;-)
