I purchased these decals for the nursery as I wanted something to enhance the decor that would last quite a few years without growing out of. I had multiple people ask, "who painted all the planes"... they look fantastic. We ended up moving 9 months after I finished the babys room, I simply took them off the wall and moved them to my little guys new room at the new house - they still look great. People still ask, "who painted all the planes"... I purchased them with the cloud package of decals and his room is adorable.

The planes look great - the colors and shapes of the vintage planes are wonderful especially on a light blue wall. The planes feel pretty sticky on the back, but I repositioned a few of the planes with no difficulty and no sticky residue. The vinyl is sturdy enough so that you can peel it carefully without tearing the thin struts. This is not to say that the vinyl can't be torn, but vinyl is certainly hardier than paper and has a nice sheen - it's about as shiny as paint, so the appearance has a hand-painted effect.
